He addressed an audience of approx. 300 and talked about his films in relation to a sense of place, belonging and memory.

The Prince has enjoyed a prolific 28-year directing career. His love for filmmaking really took off while he was a student and in 2001 he worked together with his old UCLA classmate Francis Ford Coppola as Executive Producer on his historical battle epic The Legend of Suriyothai.

This project also  involved digitally creating from architectural plans and models footage of the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and the Louvre Abu Dhabi amongst other buildings designed by renowned architects such as Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel, and Tadao Ando.
